Tribute to Randy Snodgrass RIP brother

Randy Snodgrass was more than a brother, more than a friend, more than a loving father. When we started our friendship in 1983 I knew I had found a life-long friend, who's memory now, is not far behind the quickest of thoughts.

And although Randy leaves behind a legacy of unforgettable memories, his spirit remains with his friends and family members.

This is the actual crash site of our dear brother in spirit, minutes after his funeral. The pain is in our eyes, and still tugs at our consciousnesses.

Randy was the life of parties, a brilliant public speaker, a menacing nose-tackle, and a friend that would give you the shirt off his back anytime, although he may tell you that you'd have to rip it off......then smiling like only Randy could. His smile rivaled that of any alligator, and so too, did his voracious appetite.

Randy and I were virtually inseparable, thru our high school years and beyond. He loved the band ACDC, and could sound exactly like Bon Scott, his idol, and possibly a lifestyle that led to both of their demises.

One evening in 1985 we jumped on a Ouija board in an apartment I was living in while attending Charles Page High School in Sand Springs Oklahoma. We had already involved ourselves in Ouija sessions, and lit candles, turned on the black lights, and knocked back a few shots of Tequila Gold, with lime.

Randy wanted to summon Bon Scott, his obsession with was quite the talk of the school. Randy was on suspension for wearing a "Highway to Hell," t-shirt, and I was ready to help him in his quest.

" We want to talk to Bon Scott of ACDC!"......Randy exclaimed. The planchette moved in circles, and spelled A.Y.E. Mate! We looked at each other in amazement! The entity was using Australian dialects! We become convinced we were talking to Bon, and it asked US a strange request. It asked us to light a cigarette, and place it in the hole in the planchette! What proceeded both made us laugh, and well.....become quite spooked. We lit a Marlboro 100, took a few drags and placed it cherry up into the planchette hole.

We put our fingers on the smoking center-piece, and it spelled thanks, while we witnessed the cherry light up like ol Bon was enjoying perhaps his first cigarette since 1971! We were bright eyed school kids enjoying ourselves until things took a different spin.

When the cigarette was smoked down to a snipe, the planchette spelled FUCK YOU RANDY! I had hope this wouldn't happen, but had seen it before. It was Zozo all along! The planchette spelled out that he was going to banish Randy to hell, Randy didn't take kindly to threats, and proceeded to cuss out Zozo like only Randy could. Then Zozo spelled "I WILL HAVE YOUR SOUL."

I quickly ended the session, and tossed the board like a frisbee outside my balcony on the second floor of a complex in Sand Springs. The next day our Indian guitar buddy knocked on my door. He brought inside the Ouija I threw out the evening before.

Randy began a series of lows after that session. He lost his wife Kathy, endured a bitter divorce, but was awarded split custody with their son Chance. He lost his Harley Davidson motorcycle, which sent him to years of depression and alcohol abuse. I was with him every step of the way, until we too had a falling out. I didn't speak to Randy for three years, until I showed up on his birthday as a surprise, and to mend old wounds. That night we become Indian blood brothers.

Randy and I traveled across the country chasing storms, as my Father worked for various Insurance Companies as a catastrophe adjuster. We met a cool group of Australians who overheard Randy singing ACDC on Bourban Street in New Orleans. As chance might have it, the original bass player for ACDC was with this group, who made plans for an ACDC tribute band. As fate would have it, they invited Randy and me to fly to Melbourne Australia the following month for the audition. Unfortunately, we never made it, as Randy couldn't leave his precious Chance. And I could not leave my children as well.

Randy was discovered by Francis Ford Coppola in a restaurant in Tulsa Oklahoma. He invited him to be paid stuntman actor for the film The Outsiders.

Notice the ZOetrope Studios logo? The Z connects to it's inverted relationship with the the letter S. Is this synchromysticim? The film was shot entirely on location in Tulsa Oklahoma, many scenes shot at The Admiral Twin Drive-In which burnt to the ground in 2010. As it write this, I see this connection for the first time.....you never know when the syncs will reveal themselves.

Randy gave me a bandana worn by Matt Dillon in the film, one of his prized possessions. Randy also went on to have roles in the films Rumble Fish, Tex, and others. Randy turned down a lucrative career in Hollywood to be with his son Chance, and was not willing to take a chance by leaving his only son.

Randy felt like he was in a prison, and one of his favorite ACDC songs was Jailbreak. He also enjoyed Ronnie James Dio, Rob Halford, and of course, Jimmy Page.

In our last Ouija session in 2005, Randy asked Zozo when he would die. The board responded by saying I-N C-A-R......A-T N-I-G-H-T.....A-L-O-N-E

Randy died in 2007 in a violent head on collision with a telephone pole at a dangerous turn on Wikiowa road less than a mile from his home. His last words to me hours before the accident, and I will never forget the pain in his voice....."Darren, I will see you in HELL."

The next morning I got the call from his girfriend Alicia.

"Randy never made it home last night Darren."

The tears were are rolling down my face.

The chills run up and down my entire body.

"Randy is dead."

I punched the brick wall, the tears now joining my blood, and my brother flowed away.

Randy dedicated this song to me after the untimely death of Dime-Bag Darrell of Pantera, just months before he died. And his last hug he gave me lifted my large frame up off the ground. That was the last time I saw my best friend alive.

Our dear friend and brother Greg Lee says goodbye. Greg is tattooing Randy face on his back, because thats what Randy had, was your back, without question, right or wrong he stood to defend his friends and family.

Me and Dallas De'Priest say our final goodbye's, the pain on Dallas's face will forever show the pain of losing a brother such as what was, and still is the legacy of Randall Lee Snodgrass. A cloud formed over the burial and rained on us all that day. And now every time I hear the old songs, I cry, and I laugh at the same time.

Randy left his son behind, and Chance is doing well. He is pursuing his father's dreams for him, and is also going to law enforcement training. Someday Chance will find himself through his fathers eyes which burn inside him. Randy's father was once a world class powerlifter, and we called him superman. Randy emulated his Father in many ways, and his spirit keeps us strong, focused, and passionate.

Goodbye my brother, you will always be a thought away.

Clues found in rare spirit boards

Here is an attractive spirit board made of real wood.

The triquetra symbol itself dates as early as the eighth century on carved stones in northern Europe.
The symbol represents the threefold nature of the Goddess as virgin, mother and crone. It has been found on runestones in northern Europe, and upon early Scandinavian coins. It presumably had pagan religious meaning, that become adopted by Christianity as symbolic with The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

The triquetra symbol is found on scores of ouija boards not associated with William Fuld / Parker Brothers. The example shown on the left is made of real wood, however most modern boards use a pressed wood, particle board, or paper covered cardboard.

Interesting to note Led Zeppelin used the triquetra symbol on the controversial 4th album known as the "ZOSO" Album.

John Paul Jones' symbol (circle over three interlocking ovals) was found in a book of runes and purportedly represents a person who is both confident and competent. It also mysteriously appears on the cover of a book about the Rosicrucians. I take a much closer look at Led Zeppelin in my book, but it is commonly thought that Jimmy Page was a member of occult practices

I have recently found a few spirit boards that include the letters Z, and O together. This strange board came out in 1965.

This "Mystic Genii Board was described as "the better mousetrap" when compared to other Ouija Boards. Manufactured by ZOLAR Enterprises Inc. Notice the odd symbols in the center? The symbol on the far left is undoubtedly one that was used by Aleister Crowley: The following is found on page 253 of Crowley's book named "The Equinox of the Gods."

Did the makers of this board have esoteric knowledge of Crowley's 666?

Why is the ZO significant in this board? Are there any other boards with the odd "ZO" in them?

Yes, as a matter of fact.

Who is ZOltan The Great? What secrets can he reveal? Again, strange symbols are found in the center area of the spirit board!

Here we see a ZOdiac Board but no symbols, this board came out in the twenties.

Here we see a board advertised on a the internet as an animatronic board that actually moves by itself! Is it coincidental that 2 scary looking "Zozos" or Blackbirds are rising from the corners of this unique spirit board? How does it move by itself? Why are these blackbirds built into the board? Why were jars of preserved blackbirds found next to the strange double sided ZoZo Board?Many cultures believe the Crow or Raven is a symbol of death, and bad omens.

This mousepad also doubles as a spirit board, with black snakes. What meaning is this?

The bird is even mentioned in the Bible; plucking out the eyes of sinners in Proverbs 30:17 and descending upon the wicked in Isaiah 34:11.Many religions, including that of Christianity, believed that these blackbirds were symbols of damnation. In alot of instances they were even associated with the ultimate sinner; that of Lucifer himself. Still others thought that the birds were the result of the casting of a witch's spell.

In mythology, it wasn't unusual for the gods to take the form of a raven or crow in order to fly down to earth and mix among their people.

Here a blackbird seems to be melting next to a flame emanating from a Ouija Board. Was this artist channeling information from beyond? Why all the connections between blackbirds and "talking boards?"

Other cultures considered these blackbirds to be symbols of sexual prowess or even deviancy. They believed that the birds had the power to turn even the best man into a sinner who would commit adultery or other acts of sexual deviance.

Ouija Boards and Jungian Synchronicity

You walk into a book store by chance, as your casually strolling down the isles, the book you weren’t looking for , but needed, falls from the shelf practically hitting your feet. You end a bad relationship, and suddenly you meet that special someone, as if it were meant to be. Your thinking about someone you haven’t spoken too in a long time, and suddenly the phone rings, you notice on the caller ID that it’s the person whom you were thinking about!

Your conversing with a total stranger on the subway, when you are overwhelmed with a deep sense of deja-vu, you seem to sense that you had been there before, and had the exact same conversation. You awaken precisely nano-seconds before the alarm goes off. This occurs often, but at random times. You and a close friend are talking when there is a pause, and then you both say a word at the exact same time! These are examples of Synchronicity at work.

The Laws of Attraction hint that thoughts influence chance. That these thoughts influence matter outside the head, either consciously or sub-consciously, and cannot be explained by logical reasoning. The Law of Attraction says that which is like unto itself is drawn.

Skeptics rely on buzz words like Pareidolia, and Apophenia, to debunk most claims of supernatural and paranormal experience. At one time I too rested comfortably on the bending fence of skepticism. It took my own personal experiences to convince me of ghosts, spirits, and the supernatural realm.

Carl Jung had a deep and long-standing interest in the occult, and his esoteric beliefs had a wide impact on his work. Jung coined the term “collective unconscious” to refer to that part of a person’s unconscious which is common to all human beings, as opposed to personal unconscious, which is unique to each individual. According to Jung the collective unconscious contains archetypes, which are forms or symbols that are manifested by all people in all cultures.

The concept of collective unconscious relates to the Spiritual model of living beings consisting of individuated parts of Spirit encased in physical form. Like island in the sea we appear as distinct individuals, but beneath the surface we are all connected.

Jung created the term synchronicity to describe the alignment of “universal forces” with the life experiences of an individual. Jung believed that many experiences perceived as coincidences were not merely due to chance, but instead reflected the creation of an event or circumstance by the “co-inciding” or alignment of such forces.

The process of becoming intuitively aware and acting in harmony with these forces is what Jung labeled “individuation.” Jung said that an individuated person would actually shape events around them through the communication of their consciousness with the collective unconscious. Jung spoke of synchronicity as being an “acausal connecting principle” (ie. a pattern of connection that is not explained by causality).

The laws of chance dictate that coincidences sometimes occur naturally. However, upon reflection we have probably all had experiences that seem to defy the laws of chance. For instance, what is the statistical probability of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side Of The Moon coinciding so seamlessly into The Wizard of Oz?

Jung used Ouija Boards, Oracles, and helped establish that within the framework of the human mind, there exists parallels that defy scientific rationalities.

The skeptics scoff at the thought of spirit communication thru Ouija Boards, dismissing it as a result of tapping into our subconscious, causing our arms to move the planchette thru the Ideomotor Effect.

Aleister Crowley said that the Demons of The Goetia existed within the human brain. Perhaps the subconscious is aware of demonic forces, and communicates with non-living entities through what Jung described as “archetypes” of the subconscious. One of these Archetypes he referred to as ” The Trickster,” and is capable of marked deception similar to the deceiving nature of the discarnate beings summoned by spirit board phenomena.

There is the legend of the Australian aboriginal tricksters called the Mimi. Stories of the Mimi include myths that reveal them to be ghostly figures with a healthy helping of a generous spirit that has helped the human race to learn vital lessons that have kept the race alive over the millennia. At the same time, the myths also suggest that you do not want to cross the Mimi because they can suddenly turn on humans and bring about devastation. Mimi is also written as along with Zozo, one of the demons who severely possessed a young girl near Picady in 1816.

I have witnessed Ouija Board participants who were able to spell words very quickly and accurately while blindfolded. The questions asked were directed around the subject of King Arthur, whom the middle school children knew nothing about. They were able to answer questions straight out of an encyclopedia with astonishing accuracy.

Serial killers/rapists often talk about the “voices in their head” that prompted them to commit heinous crimes. Those “voices” I believe, are telepathic messages from sadistic demons in the Spirit; they are not being generated from an area of the brain. The part of the brain where the voices are being “recorded” is only the final receiving end of the transmission. A soul in a body is likened to a radio. Most know that the music does not originate from the box but is appears to do so to those who are uninformed.

It has been demonstrated that thoughts by themselves can create poltergeists, or “Tulpas” that have the ability to disrupt our lives and cause unexplainable phenomena. My research into what I coined The Zozo Spirit Phenomena has taught me an important lesson, to approach all things with an open mind, to help see the forest thru the trees. The skeptics continue to assault me from all angles, and I smile when the phone rings, I check the caller ID, and I see synchronicity playing the mysterious strings within the Violin of life.

Alarming Zozo Submission to "The Freaky and the Strange"

I found this new Zozo story today, and decided to post it here. I found it to be most disturbing not only because of the physical attacks, but because of the "12:00 phenomena. You see, if you tilt the word Zozo, it becomes "noon." This was pointed out by Jake Kotz in an email he sent to me regarding the "Oz/Zo phenomena he writes about in his blog "Rant in Z minor."

I tend to doubt this story is simply made up, and like in my most recent posts, Zozo seems to have a preference for young girls. Hers however, isn't the first story that includes strange "time" phenomena associated with Zozo that I have found. Remember, young teenage girls were the focus of Zozo's attention in Alex Rykens Zozo encounter, in many of my own sessions, and in the possession case of a young girl in Picardy in 1816. Also, John Zaffis revealed recently that he is investigating 3 different cases of Zozo hauntings which all involved young girls, and Ouija boards.

This all reminds me years ago when Zozo was always fixated with girls present during my Ouija sessions. It always said despicable sexual messages towards them, saying it would "take them to paradise," then spell H.E.L..L.

One woman whom I have correspondence with claims she was raped by Zozo during sleep paralysis. I'm seeing a definite pattern developing here, and one that is very disturbing since the mass marketing of "pink Ouija boards to young girls by the toy company Hasbro.

ZOZO AND CARRIE

This happened to me and my friend Mandy. Here's what happened.

I've wanted a Ouija board for a long time, but my mom disapproved of them and told me they were dangerous but when I moved in with my dad everything changed. My dad never believed in ghosts while me and my mom strongly believed so my dad bought me a Ouija board the night before my friend Mandy was going to sleep over at my house. Well that night was a little weird. When I was staying up late watching movies by myself I started to get a eerie feeling. Then I turned my head and looked at where I put my Ouija Board, it wasn't where I left it. Weird I thought to myself and begun to search for it. finally I found it still in the packaging how I left it in the creepiest part of my basement, the oilroom/laundry room. The reason why I'm a little freaked out by this room is because I thought I saw a little boy in there asking to play a year ago. So anyway I gathered up my courage and went in there to get it. I quickly ran in and back out and shut the door to that room very quickly and went to bed a little shaken up.

The next day me and my dad went to pick up my friend Mandy. As soon as we picked her up she asked if I got the Ouija Board, we both were really excited to play with one. When we got to my house we went down in my basement and started to play. You hold it first I told her (She's done it before and this was my first time), ok she replied happily. She held the Ouija Board and asked the first question. "Are there any sp-rits here" she asked. Nothing happened so we made it move ourselves for the first couple minutes or so. Then it moved on it's own because and moved differently and my friend had a startled look on her face. So we asked the question again, and the planchette moved to yes.

Then we asked it's name, it spelled out C-A-R-R-I-E, Carrie. Carrie said she was 17 and was killed when someone was beating her. We found Carrie in my oilroom. We asked if we could see her, she said we could maybe see her but only if we made it like pitch black, so we did. At first Mandy and I thought we probably wouldn't be able to see her but then I saw this tall, skinny, pale long-blond-haired girl standing in the dark. I even remember what she was wearing, a strapless black mini-dress, with a white belt on the waist, an old fashioned diamond heart necklace, and strappy zebra heels. She even had pink highlights like Avril Lavigne. Carrie became our spirit guide and loved us like sisters. Carrie would also do weird stuff like sometimes I would feel like little shocks on my face but the only thing near me was air, and I felt someone tickle my back, but Mandy was in the bathroom. So you can tell Carrie was a really nice ghost and would protect us if we needed her to.

When we were sitting on my bed calm and relaxed talking to Carrie something weird happened to both me and Mandy, we felt pains on our arms like claws were scratching us. At first we thought Carrie was playing a joke on us, but when we said "Carrie, Stop!" something freaky happened. The board started spelling out something fast and furiously. I was holding the board at the time and while this was going on both me and Mandy felt the same thing sad, mad, depressed, felt like there was no happiness left in the world. Finally I realized what the board spelled out, when I did I was terrified, terrified enough to almost not tell my friend, but I decided I had to. She asked me over an over "What is it saying?" finally I choked out "ZOZO", "It said, this is not Carrie, it's ZOZO."

It took my friend a couple seconds to put it together, but when she did she gave me the most horrified look I've ever seen before in my life. If you're wondering why we were terrified it's because ZOZO is an evil devil who some people have said has murdered innocent people for fun. Anyway when we figured this out we had no idea whatsoever except to just read what he said.

ZOZO started asking questions, weird questions, like "do you like to watch people die?" and another was "do you want to die tonight and join me, it won't hurt, that bad." Then he started saying he was going to kill us at 12:00 am. You'd think as soon as he left we'd be smart and put the board away, hope it never happened, but no we kept playing it. As soon as ZOZO left Carrie came back asking us what happened we told her and then she left to try to go and stop him. At the time it was 11:00 pm. So we had a hour. We stopped playing for a short while to make popcorn and watch a little TV. By 11:30 pm we felt better and almost forgot what happened but as soon as the clock said 12:00 am weird stuff started to happen. Doors slammed upstairs, my radio turned it self on blared, footsteps above our heads and weird demonic voices filled the air. At first we thought it was my dad but when we went upstairs he was sound asleep like he had been at 11:00 pm. Then we started to freak out. We tried to wake up my dad, no use he was a heavy sleeper, and plus he didn't believe in ghosts anyway. So we were on our own.

We ran downstairs and waited. Just as we were starting to calm down again the stuff happened again only three times worse. Even the scratches on the arms started again, only this time when I looked down at the marks they spelled out something. "You will die tonight." Mandy got the same one on her arm. Then amongst the horrors I remembered something. Mandy had brought Holy water with her in case we needed it. So I yelled to Mandy to go get it and I was searching through my brain for a passage from the bible to read to vanish ZOZO. Finally I thought of one, and I yelled to Mandy to say it with me, we said over and over as we blessed my house and sprinkled Holy water everywhere. Then suddenly we both felt the evilness go away and we knew we had done it. We were so happy. Mandy and I are creeped out big-time still, but we still may play with one again.

Disturbing "Ouija" evolution in media

Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner has revealed details about the upcoming "Ouija"movie currently in the works. Goldner, who will also serve as executive producer for the film said that he wants to be clear about one thing in particuar, " This will not be some G-Rated, weak hot sauce "Jumanj" knockoff. He informed M-TV news that the film will contain horror genre elements similar to "The Ring," and "The Gift."

Goldner explained the filmmakers are keeping two operating principles in mind while creating a movie around a game in which players ask questions and attempt to communicate with otherworldly spirits: one, be careful what you wish for; and two, is Ouija just a game or is there something deeper and more sinister going on?
“Half of the people that play Ouija as a séance think it’s just a game,” said Goldner. “The other half thinks it’s much more serious than that. So that idea, is this real or is this just sort of imagined? Is this something that’s done by the participants or is this something that’s really from beyond?”
“Because of course breaking through to the other side is something we’re all kind of interested in,” he continued. “It’s such an intriguing idea, and that’s something we want to explore in this movie.”
How might the film’s characters get swept up into the territory of the creepy Great Beyond? “In Ouija you ask questions and then you get these answers,” Goldner told us. “And sometimes these answers are unintended answers. So be careful what you ask, that’s the element of the game that I think is so fun. You sort of use that insight about really playing Ouija as the jumping off point for a story for a movie, and then you link it to something much bigger.”
That producers are willing exploring—and subjecting the film’s characters to—horror movie conventions is the surest indication that “Ouija” will not be geared toward the elementary school set. Indeed, Goldner is ever mindful of the deep connection his audience feels toward a board game that has been delivering late-night chills and thrills for generations.
“People out there really take it pretty seriously and I think that’s the fun of it,” he said. “Everybody, especially in fact young teenage women as they grow up and go through their teens—have all had a Ouija story. They’ve all gotten together for a sleepover that’s maybe gotten a little too scary. They can all remember back.”
If Goldner has any doubts about adapting a mere board game into a cinematic blockbuster, the exec wasn’t tipping his hand. In fact, he name-checked another Hasbro toy that led to a huge box office success: “Just like in ‘Transformers,’” he said, “it was always about ‘more than meets the eye.’”

Also, there has been controversy following Hasbro's release of a newly designed "Pink" Ouija Board aimed at young girls.

According to Stephan Phelan, of the pro-life and missionary organization Human Life International, Ouija board is “a dangerous spiritual game and for [Hasbro] to treat it as just another game is quite dishonest.” This sentiment has been echoed by several customers complaining at Amazon.com, and in fact, Toys R Us is phasing the game out, although they haven’t said why.

Phelan elaborated, “Christians should know, well everyone should know, that it’s opening up a person to attack, spiritually. Christians shouldn’t use it."

These new developments in Ouija marketing and production in my opinion will undoubtedly influence thousands upon thousands of people to dabble into this realm of spirit summoning and communication with dangerous entities such as Zozo.

The "paranormal explosion" continues on television with huge ratings on a wide variety of ghost hunting shows with investigators "demanding" the spirits make their presences known. The wildly successful film "Paranormal Activity" is in sequel production, and many more films scripts are following the Paranormal footprint.

In the next few years we will witness paranormal based media like never before. As in ancient man, the fear of the unknown remains a powerful imprint into the minds of modern culture. Are we getting closer to solving mysteries of spirit communication?

Glow in the dark boards, pink and purple, Hell-Boy boards, Sabrina The Witch talking editions, and most recently the ominous Ozzy Ozbourne collectors board! We are seeing marketing towards an ever increasing younger demographic. New cell phone applications are targeting youth with mobile Ouija apps.! A new Ouija I-Pad software has been released, and there will be no slow down of these and other inventions to allow people more ways to contact the dead or un-living.

I suspect there will be an increase in real paranormal activity as public opinion shifts towards the acceptance of these spiritual phenomenons. Millions of people will seek a "paranormal" experience of their own, and I suspect many will be granted that what they wish for.

Hi, my name is Evan last name withheld. I am a 15 year old that lives in Mobile, Alabama.

I have recently had some experiences with this "Zozo" person using an Ouija Board obviously.
I saw where you had posted your experiences with Zozo on www.trueghosttales.com, and I have come to you with some experiences me and my mother have had with an Ouija Board.

You see, when my mom was about my age here and some of her friends used to be big with using Ouija Boards. She is 36 now, and has told me to never mess with them, but with the hard head of a teenager I did anyway. Anyway, her and 2 of her friends were using an Ouija Board at our old house when they were all about 17. They were talking to a peron named "Maleki". As soon as this "Maleki" finished spelling his name, my mom blacked out. Or so she thought. Her friends had told her that she became convulsing and speaking in tongues, like ancient Hebrew or something, and her eyes were rolled into the back of her head, and they tried to touch her and shake her but they said she was so hot that it was like touching a hot oven. Then after my mom came to, and they properly said goodbye to the demon (or spirit) they put the Ouija Board up to never use it again. But a couple of days later the cross from my grandfathers coffin, in my mom's room began turning itself upside down and we've had hauntings like that at that house even since.

Then on Halloween in 2009 me and some friends went to a graveyard to use an Ouija Board, but I was too caught up in the moment to really remember what my mom has said about them. We spoke to a demon, or spirit, named "Diablos". My friend Kyle asked him if he knew anyone personally in the group and it said yes. Kyle asked who and it said "E" and I was the only one there with the initial "E". I then asked how do you know me, and it said "M" which scared me since my moms first initial is "M".

But now my experience I had with Zozo this weekend.
My and some friends went to my old house because they wanted to use an Ouija Board. The one I earlier said was haunted and were my moms cross in my moms old room would turn upside down. I didn't want to have anything to do with it, so I told them the basic rules that my mom has told me since shes a Pagan. I stood outside of the circle and watched, and they began. They told to a spirit and asked its name and, obviously, it said "Zozo". They then asked, "Are you a good spirit?" and it said no. They then said, "Do you want to hurt any of us?" it said yes, and they said "who?" and it replied, "E -V-A-N", I then started to get really scared and told them to put it up, but seeing as how they don't know the dangers they could cause (regardless of the fact that before this they spoke to a spirit and didn't say goodbye to a spirit, thus opening a portal and then all the power went out in the neighborhood we were in, and the school's alarm next to the neighborhood went off) they refused to put it up. They then asked why Zozo wanted to hurt me and it said "Margaret", which is my mom's name. At this point I was so scared I was practically crying. Zozo then carried on to say that he was gonna do his "harm" to me in 2018. They asked what he was going to do to me and it said "torture". I then ran out of the house.

Ever since then I've seen 2018 everywhere I turn like Zozo is telling me its going to happen.
Like I had a missed call on my cell phone, so I checked and it said the number was 2018. I really don't know what to do, and I'm really afraid to go to the kitchen by myself.

But theres my story. I hope that helps in any way to your studies of Zozo, and goodluck on writing that book.

I find this encounter particularly bothersome because of the unprovoked death prediction. Also the torture reference, and the alarm going off. Very similar characteristics to events I have witnessed years ago.

Both articles make references to the possibility that this phenomena could be over-active imaginations, or stories simply told by the campfire. The oldest Zozo story listed on the site is from 2002. My experiences began in the early eighties. I wonder how far back these Zozo stories really go? Again Zozo is mentioned in a french grimouire as one of the demons that possessed a young girl near Picardy in 1816.

John Zaffis claims the three Zozo hauntings he is investigating involve three different women. He didn't specify if they were possessed, but mentioned deeply disturbed and tormented. It would seem he has some Incubus characteristics, as I have received two emails from women claiming it had molested them, one in her sleep, and one fully conscious. This woman described it as "taking over the right side of her body," having it's way with her. She then locked herself into a closet, and had a conversation that lasted for hours.

It is so strange. I involved myself with 'the board" when I was in high-school. Eventually, this entity attached 'itself' to me and anytime I used the board, it came through. Sometimes 'it' claimed to be another entity, but always came through as 'itself'. I stopped using the board completely. Recently, a friend reminded me of these occurences. I am 40 years old also and have been curious since I was about 16 when me and a girl I knew sat down and played with a ouija board at her house for about a month. I hadn't really had experience with one prior to that and didn't believe they were anything but baloney. When we used it a strong spirit took control and the board started spelling things by itself pretty much without us holding or even touching it and it did it very quickly. It called itself ZOZO. I had the courage to ask it who it was and what it was and it answered "you will know in time".

I was shocked to see your story. I had a few bizarre events in my life especially when I was younger that couldn't really be explained especially this. I agree this thing is nothing to mess with. I haven't touched a ouija since. When I was in the military another member I knew was using a ouija regularly and he was institutionalized because he freaked out and thought his room was on fire and it wasn't and he became very violent. That was enough for me to not even think of touching one of these again. It is definately a portal.

How many others have you contacted or have contacted you that are aware of this spirit? This is freaky! I would help you write a book or even create a website to give people knowledge of this thing or at least a sounding board so they can share their stories. This is something very powerful.

I really don't even know how to start talking about this but I'll give it a try.

I recently purchased a Ouija board and of course started playing with it. I was contacted by zozo right away. I then goggled the word and found your site.

There is a lot more to my story but I thought I would share this part with you now. After reading your site and your recommended sites for viewing, I sat down with the Ouija board and contacted zozo again.

Dead blackbirds and the buried truth

In 1983 I was working on a construction site with the family business. My cousin was digging a deep trench in search of a water line we could tie into a room addition. This was in Sand Springs Oklahoma, not known as a scary town of witches, or was it?

The construction site was considered outside the city limits, and wasn't far from "Stoner Hill" an old hangout for hippies at the time. One could drive his tye-died Volkswagon van down a short path to the edge of a tall hill overlooking the Shell Creek area west of the city.

My cousin Michael Jean was a heavy equipment operator, and was skilled with the jaws of this back-hoe. He didn't want to rupture the water main, so I was in charge of keeping a close eye into the trench which was about 8 feet deep. While digging, I noticed a strange object shaken loose from it's earthen grave. I whistled loudly to Michael, and motioned for him to stop so I could jump into the trench so as to retrieve the cylindrical offering.

The buried object was an old "Lightning Jar," the kind used for canning, and had a glass lid with a metal wire clamp. I held the jar up to Michael, who wasn't nearly excited as I was to find this mysterious treasure.

I climbed out of the ditch which was over my head, and ran to a hose to wash off the soil. What could be in this old mason jar?

I was expecting some peaches, or other fruit often canned and kept for later enjoyment. But as I held up the jar in the light I stared into the blood red eyes of a Zozo! (Blackbird or Crowe)

It was amazingly preserved, and I wondered what stories it could tell! Why was it put into this tomb? Was it part of some witchy spell? Was I going to be cursed by an ancient warlock? I wasn't about to find out, so I carefully placed the spooky jar, and it's feathered omen back into it's earthly grave.

The Zozo, or blackbird has magical symbolic meaning. They are a very intelligent species, with complex songs that ring with flute like character. They often mimic other birds, and have been taught to talk In most parts of the world the raven is considered a prophet and a bad omen. The Arabs call it Abu Zajir which means "Father of Omens." In Ireland it was once domesticated for use in divination practices and the term "Raven's Knowledge" was applied to the human gift of second sight. Ravens deserting their nests were very bad omens and popular superstition declared that if the ravens ever fled the Tower of London, the monarchy would fall. In many areas of the ancient world, the sight of a raven flying to the right was a good omen, whilst a raven flying to the left was an evil one. Ravens and Crowes are the same speicies, the only difference is their size.

Eaters of carrion, ravens were messengers of death, pestilence, and battle. It was believed that these flesh-hungry birds could smell the scent of death upon a person before they died - even through the walls of a house. In paintings, the raven may be seen flying over battlefields, eager to feast on the dead. After the Battle of Armageddon, ravens will descend upon the lands of the wicked (Isa 34:11).

These birds were thought to have a special taste for the bodies of hanged criminals and to enjoy plucking out the eyes of sinners (Prov 30:17). Christians thought they carried off the souls of the damned and associated this bird with the Fall of Man and Satan who blinds sinners, dulls their moral senses, and feasts on their corruption.

In the Middle Ages, it was believed that to hear Raven’s caw was an omen of death. Sightings of the turnfalkens, ravens, and hearing their calls was a death omen to the Hapsburgs, the ruling family of the Austro/Hungarian Empire. Christians of that era believed that evil priests became ravens when they died.The beautiful song of the blackbird makes it a symbol of temptations, especially sexual ones. The devil once took on the shape of a blackbird and flew into St. Benedict's face, thereby causing the saint to be troubled by an intense desire for a beautiful girl he had once seen. In order to save himself, St. Benedict tore off his clothes and jumped into a thorn bush. This painful act is said to have freed him from sexual temptations for the rest of his life.

The word Zozo originated in early basque, one of the oldest languages in history, dating to the stone age. Zozo, while interpreted as a blackbird, Zozomikote is "pair of blackbirds" (the beginning of April, and a mythical figure said to occupy Mount Ubedi).

The Aquitanian and Basque languages are presently believed to be remnants of an Ice Age Paleolithic language spoken in Western Europe.

The blackbird represents those who are tempted by carnal pleasures.

Has Zozo the Ouija demon adopted these symbols of dark omens to play with the minds of men?

Demons and archetypal demons.. etc, some of their names were spoken to people in visions or during dark rituals and these names were written down. Alot of them are secret, but, these demon names are slipped into everyday terminology. The term Helter Skelter, made famous by The Beatles and others is likewise the name of an archetypal demon.

The names of actual demons are presented purposefully to us in everyday life in order to allow them access to us.

The Military campaign in Iraq known as "Shock and Awe," which is repeated by many to this day, and written in many history books, could actually be the clever disguise by the archetypal demon Shakanah! Interestingly enough SR-71 "Blackbirds" were used as stealth aircraft. It seems demons aren't the only vessels attempting to carry out their missions under the radar!

We have no way of knowing how often this kind of stuff goes on... every major corporation owned by the Illuminati not only has logos and symbols that are meant to influence us, they are most likely named in order to cast spells on us and introduce Demons into the world.

The song of the blackbird has been described as beautiful and esoteric, having the ability to put listeners into a trance like state. Is it mere coincidence that Jimmy Page joined the BLACK CROWES! Here the infamous "Zoso" symbol joins the nest!

Two Zozo's and one Zoso, sounds like a magic unison of song!

Like the crow and the raven, the blackbird is considered a bad omen. However, the sight of two blackbirds sitting together is a symbol of peace and a good omen. On this live recording, the two blackbirds are bathing in a full moon, wings pointing towards the stars, or possibly Jimmy's ruling planet!

Was Jimmy Page the designer of this artistic rendering? The pairing with The Black Crowes was a success, and is considered to be some of his best playing since the demise of Led Zeppelin.

In 2009 rumors were rampant of a Led Zeppelin reunion tour. Robert Plant backed out despite quadrillions of dollars being thrown at the band members. It seemed he preferred complacency with a songbird of his own, the magical voiced Allison Krauss.

Page invited the stellar pipes of Myles Kennedy, a young fledgling who joined forces with x Creed band members, and fronted the hard rock band Alterbridge. Their second effort was simply entitled "Blackbird."

The Led Zeppelin reunion never materialized, but I suspect the Zoso shall rise again.

The "blackbird singing in the dead of night" symbolizes death. Lines like "take these sunken eyes and learn to see," and "take these broken wings and learn to fly" suggest a restoration to come in the afterlife. "All your life, you were only waiting for this moment to be free" suggests that life is a struggle for the release that comes with death. "Blackbird fly into the light of a dark black night" may refer to the light people see when about to die.

The Curse of The Movie "The Crow"

After this movie's release in 1994, "The Crow" became an instant cult favorite. Based, on a comic book and starring Brandon Lee, the film is about Eric Draven and his fiancee who are brutally murdered one night. Then, a year later, the Crow brings his soul back to seek vengeance and earn his eternal rest.

During rumors that "The Crow" set was cursed, many accidents happened. A carpenter was severely burned after the crane in which he was riding struck high-power lines; then a disgruntled sculptor who had worked on the set drove his car through the studio's plaster shop, doing extensive damage. Later, another crew member slipped and drove a screwdriver through his hand and a lorry full of equipment mysteriously went on fire.

And there's also Brandon Lee's (Eric Draven) mysterious death during filming. They were filming a flashback scene to show how he really died. He was going to be shot with .44 Magnum which was not a prop, but a fully functioning firearm. The gun was loaded with blanks, they are as loud as real bullets, but whe fired only the harmless cardboard wadding which they are packed is ejected from the gun. But when the gun was fired, Lee fell to the floor with a wound the size of a quarter in his left abdomen. Apparently, the metal tip of one of the dummy bullets had somehow pulled loose from its brass casing and killed Brandon Lee.

Even the T.V series, "The Crow: Stairway to Heaven" could not escape the curse of tragedy. Veteran stunt co-ordinator Marc Akerstream was killed while working on an explosive stunt involving a rowboat near a shoreline. Everything was working fine but when the stunt exploded a piece of debris shot up into the air, cleared a tree and struck Akerstream on the head. He was flown to a nearby hospital, where he later died.

Star Brandon Lee’s death paralleled the plot of gloomy ‘90s goth flick he was working on so closely, it’s hard not to chalk it up to the supernatural. Lee died on the set of The Crow after being shot by a gun that was supposed to be filled with banks, while his character was supposed to be shot with a gun he thinks is unloaded. Likewise, in the script, The Crow was killed the night before his wedding; Lee was to marry his fiancé once filming ended on the movie.

The capital letter Z represents hell or the afterlife in hell following death and the final judgment in ancient Egyptian beliefs.

According to the foundation legend of Egypt, the evil god Set and a company of conspirators murdered Assur. They hacked his body into pieces and scattered his severed parts. Isis gathered together Assur's scattered parts and resurrected him from the dead. She then copulated with her resurrected king. The union of Assur and Isis produced their son, Heru. During Heru's growing-up years, Isis had to live on the run, hide in swamps, and resort to all manner of stratagems to protect her son from the fiends of Set who were out to kill him. When Heru reached maturity, he avenged the murder of his father in a horrible war against the forces of Set in which both parties suffered losses and injuries.
Despite all of this, Set and Heru often appear to be coequals in Egyptian art and symbolism. In some versions of the Judgment Scene, Assur is pictured holding only his crook and flail. In other versions he is seen holding the Set scepter along with his crook and flail. That suggests that Assur is an ancestor of Set and not his "brother" as some genealogies have it. In some cases, Set appears to be a brother of Heru. In other cases he seems to be the "dark side" of Heru. Many Egyptian gods are depicted holding a Set scepter in their hands. Possibly the Set scepters held in the hands of gods represent their power over evil forces within themselves or in the outer world. Set, the unnamable animal with his forked tail, his scepter, and his reputation for evil is apparently the prototype for our conventional concept of Satan. According to the Biblical concept of the Devil, Satan was a "fallen angel." Set seems to have suffered the same fate in Egyptian religion. He began as one of the good gods and ended up as the devil. Before the dawn of dynastic Egypt, Set was a member of a venerated company of gods. By the end of the Twenty-sixth Dynasty, he was the personification of evil. Apparently Set lost his position in heaven through his involvement in the political power struggles of people on earth.

The venom of asps is a psychoactive drug that they imbibed to make themselves wise.

In Mayan mythology, ZotZ is known as an evil Bat-God

The cult of zotz began around 100 B.C. among the Zapotec Indians in what is the modern-day Mexican state of Oaxaca. The cult of zotz worshiped an anthropomorphic monster with the body of a human female, head of a bat (though the exact proportioning varies with account). The bat was associated with night, death, and sacrifice. This god soon found its way into the pantheon of the Quiche Kiche, a tribe of Maya who made their home in the jungles of what is now Guatemala. The Quiché identified the bat-deity with their god Zotzilaha Chamalcan, the god of fire.

There is some evidence to support that the zotz myth may have sprung from actual large, blood-drinking bats of the Mexico, Guatemala, and Brazil areas. Evidence is in the form of fossils of Desmodus draculae, the giant vampire bat. There have also been skeletons of draculae found which were sub-fossil, of very recent age. These sub-fossils suggest that the species were still common when the Mayans civilization existed, and may still be in existence today, though it is doubtful. Alternately, Zotz may have originated from the Spectral bat , a large carnivorous bat native to Central and South America.

The curse of the Zo People of Burma

The history of the ZO people is obscure, shrouded in myth and legend.However through historical, linguistics, archaeological findings and ethnic relationships, it is widely accepted that the ZO belongs to the Tibeto-Burman groups. The ZO people are an indigenous tribe, living mostly in the present-day Tonzaang and Tedim townships of Northern Chin State and the Kabaw valley of Western Sagaing division in the Union of Burma.

They are ZO not because they live in the highlands or the hills, but all ZO and called themselves ZO because they are the descendants of the great ancestor, “ZO”. This people traditionally named their sons and daughters, villages, places imbibing the great great progenitor “ZO”. Names such as Zogam, Zozaam, Zotui etc. stand testimonial to the affiliation that these people has had to their great ancestor Pu ZO from time immemorial.

Traditionally viz- animism was considered to be the most widely practiced religion among Zo people, until the Swedish-American Baptist missionaries forced Christianity around 1899. While playing with a glow in the dark Ouija Board in the winter of 2001, I took this photograph. Zozo told me to take the picture if i wanted to "see" him. He said he attached himself to the skull necklace being held above the Board.

Notice the menacing face? Now look at the negative!
